place/scene play in the circulation of ideas?
The place and scene plays a major role in everyday writing. The place is used to determine if something is everyday writing. For example if something someone wrote goes into a novel or newspaper, it can not be named everyday writing. However if a text is written for the purpose of just a few people to see such as a caption on an Instagram picture or a text message it can be determined that that text is everyday writing. If there is a focus group trying to solve a specific problem in a work place their texts and documents are rarely considered everyday writing. Texts can also become everyday if they are used in an everyday environment for example a simple workplace with cubicles, or in your room in your house. The circulation of ideas is dependent on place and scene because nothing would ever get done if every said facts about something completely irrelevant even though the statements are true and factual. The circulation of ideas needs to be a focused group of ideas surrounding a single subject. After all, place and scene is essential to the progression of the circulation of ideas.
